Tamjid Hossain Mazumder,BU Imtiaz Ahmed Nafiz, a Mathematics Department student (2021-22 session) at Barishal University (BU) passed away on Friday(April 3) morning at 10:00 AM at his home. He was buried the same day after the Asr prayers beside his home. His father Md. Zakir Hossen confirmed that his death was caused by brain stroke. On March 16, Imtiaz was admitted to Dhaka Neuroscience Hospital due to deteriorating health.
After receiving treatment there, his condition showed some improvement, and on April 1, following medical advice, his family brought him back home. Just two days later, yesterday morning, he departed from this world forever. Imtiaz was the elder son of his father. His classmates and friends are deeply heartbroken by his untimely death. on Friday His classmates, seniors and juniors, went to Gournadi for his Janazah. Imtiaz was a talented student. He came to the campus from Gournadi to attend classes. On his final day, not a single teacher could attend his Janazah.
his classmates Faisal said,” This is truly sad” Imtiaz’s department chairman, Dr. Bijan Krishna Saha, expressing deep grief over Imtiaz’s death, said, “Nafiz was a very talented boy. His death is an irreparable loss for our department. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and pray for the salvation of his soul.”
